Offering a New Facilitator Training Program on Zoom
Coming Together, Working to Nourish the Whole
In 2025, after publishing Listening Circles: Seeding Life, I heard from many of you who were inspired by the book, and who encouraged me to offer a program for women who feel drawn to hold a Listening Circle: Seeding Life in their community.
Why is it called Listening Circles: Seeding Life? Because if we learn to value listening, we will learn to hear the deeper stream that flows beneath the surface of life. This capacity of listening gives us access to a way of working that can nourish and heal life.
This program is for any woman who longs to live more deeply in service to life. For those who want to practice the gift of compassion, wisdom, or love, within the fields of women and homelessness, social services, education, or in a circle with friends. We have found that the training enriches the lives of both facilitators and participants.
We will focus on the feminine principles which seed change – listening, holding, stillness, compassion. These are some of the principles which provide the foundation for caring for, and bring healing to, the life around us.
We will cover the following:
- Gathering Together: An introduction to Listening Circles: Seeding Life
- Creating Our Belonging: Nurturing Ourselves, Others & the Earth
- Opening to Our Light: Growing Compassion & Capacity to Listen
- Finding Strength in the Quiet: Discovering Tools and Inner Resources
Our first 2-session Facilitator Training will be on:
July 23rd and August 6th
12 Noon – 1:30pm Pacific Daylight Time
Participants are asked to attend both sessions, with a maximum of 10 participants.
The cost is $80, which covers the 2 sessions. (If you’re unable to pay this amount, please contact us for financial assistance.) Please sign up by July 20th.
We ask that you read Anne’s book Listening Circles: Seeding Life, as it’s a manual for the Facilitator Training. You can purchase the book here: https://dreamweather.org/books
In Anne’s books over the last 25 years, she has shared stories from women, often women in homelessness, demonstrating how the inner affects the outer – and how compassion, listening, holding, stillness, all work to seed change. This is evidence-based work showing the certain strength that comes from this feminine way of working.
We hope you’ll join us!
